Support for Youth Job Seekers' Employment and Competitiveness Enhancement

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Sangju City, Gyeongbuk, is promoting a certification acquisition support project to assist unemployed youth with employment and to strengthen their employment competitiveness.

Under this support project, when a young job seeker takes a certification exam, up to 50,000 KRW per person per exam will be supported, and an additional 50,000 KRW will be provided upon final passing of the exam.

Eligibility for the project is unemployed youth aged 19 to 39 residing in Sangju City, and the project will continue until the budget is exhausted.

A city official stated, “By supporting the certification acquisition costs of youth, who are the foundation of the region, we encourage youth employment and will continue to make ongoing efforts for employment in the future.”
