A New Journey to Find My Friend Dino
[Haenam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will hold a special exhibition titled "Do You Know Dinosaurs?" at the Haenam Dinosaur Museum until the 31st of next month.
This special exhibition is a collaborative display with the National Busan Science Museum, Korea's representative science museum, and the Busan Environmental Preservation Association, designed as an experience-oriented exhibition where children can directly touch and enjoy dinosaurs.
In particular, the exhibition includes experiences such as the Mesozoic forest and the superstar of the dinosaur world, Tyrannosaurus, as well as opportunities to observe real dinosaur eggs and dinosaur fossilized dung under magnifying glasses, and to directly touch herbivorous dinosaur teeth.
Additionally, to explore Earth's time, a space themed "Layers of Time" has been prepared with an interactive time table, allowing children to learn about major organisms from the Paleozoic to the Cenozoic eras.
The Marine Dinosaur Museum, opened in 2007, is the largest museum in Korea, attracting about 200,000 family visitors annually.
It is also well known as the world's most notable dinosaur fossil site, possessing the largest pterosaur footprints and trackways in the world, the oldest webbed bird footprints, and the most exquisite 1-meter-sized large herbivorous dinosaur footprints.
