Kang Gijeong's preliminary candidate 'Gangchu Camp' (Strong Drive, Recommending Kang Gijeong) announced the first list of the primary election campaign headquarters, composed of advisory members, co-chairs, co-general directors, and co-heads of the campaign headquarters.

Co-general directors leading the primary election campaign headquarters are No Heeyong (former Mayor of Dong District) and Im Seonsuk (former President of Gwangju Bar Association), and co-heads of the campaign headquarters are ▲Kang Hunryeol (Secretary General of Chonnam National University Alumni Association) ▲Kim Junha (Professor at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology) ▲Shin Hyunggu (former Director of Gwangju Economic Employment Promotion Agency) ▲Lee Youngju (former Director of Gwangju Metropolitan City Western Education Support Office) ▲Jo Ikmun (former Standing Auditor of Korea Rural Community Corporation) ▲Hong Gyeongpyo (former Chairman of Gwangju Medical Association).

The first list of the primary election campaign headquarters includes a total of 2,455 participants: 184 in the campaign headquarters, 200 in the policy headquarters, 101 in the organization headquarters, 44 in the advisory group, and 1,926 in the organizational special supporters.
Preliminary candidate Kang Gijeong said, "Through the launch ceremony of the primary election campaign headquarters, we will gather internal energy from the local community and confidently and swiftly win the Democratic Party primary," adding, "We plan to announce the second personnel appointments centered on expert groups in detailed fields."
