Admission is free, and to ensure safe and comfortable viewing, the number of visitors is limited to 100 per session.
A representative of the National Gwangju Science Museum said, "This pilot opening is conducted to gauge visitor response and identify improvements in exhibition hall operations ahead of full-scale normal operation," adding, "We hope many children will visit the Science Play Center, the first children-only science museum introduced in the Honam region."
The Science Play Center is a living SOC project built using the entire lottery fund to promote national welfare.
