[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] SK Innovation affiliates announced on the 3rd that they will begin recruiting new employees for 2022. After deciding not to conduct the annual open recruitment at the SK Group level, the SK Inno affiliates will independently carry out the new employee recruitment. They plan to hire talent that can help accelerate net zero (carbon neutrality) and the circular economy, which SK Inno is actively promoting.
SK Inno stated that the scale of recruitment this year will remain at a three-digit level, similar to last year. Five affiliated business companies including SK Inno, SK Energy, SK Geocentric, SK On, SK Lubricants, and SK Incheon Petrochem will recruit new employees for positions in management support, business, engineering, and research & development (E&D).
This new employee recruitment started accepting applications from the 28th of last month until the 10th, and after about two months of document screening, written tests, and interviews, the final successful candidates will be announced around the end of June. Reflecting the ongoing COVID-19 situation, all stages will be conducted online and non-face-to-face. From the interview stage, the process will be adapted according to the characteristics of each business company and job type.
An SK Inno recruitment official explained, "We aim to select passionate talent who will lead SK Inno's Carbon to Green strategy and accelerate the pursuit of net zero and the establishment of a circular economy." He added, "We will focus on hiring personnel who have the technology and global competitiveness to promote eco-friendly and new businesses and who can immediately perform their duties."
This recruitment is the first time SK Inno is conducting new employee recruitment independently in earnest. Considering that the entire process is conducted online, SK Inno said it is operating a dedicated promotional page. They also provide recruitment-related information on their specialized news channel, SK Inno News, and YouTube channel, as well as other online communication platforms.
