"Both Color and Flavor Intensified" Lotte Food Launches 'Dwaejikon Black'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Foods announced on the 31st that it will launch 'Dwaejikon Black,' with both the cone and toppings deepened to black.

Dwaejikon Black features a black cone cookie containing cocoa powder filled with cookies and cream ice cream, topped with chocolate and black chip biscuits. Compared to the chocolate topping of the original Dwaejikon, it has a higher dark chocolate content, offering a rich flavor not only in color but also in taste.

Launched in 2017, Dwaejikon is a product that turned Dwaejibar into a cone ice cream. Within just two months of its release, it surpassed 10 million units in cumulative sales, establishing itself as one of Lotte Foods' major cone products.

A Lotte Foods official said, "Dwaejikon Black is a richer and more generous cone ice cream with chocolate and black chip biscuit toppings," adding, "We will actively communicate with consumers and continue to introduce unique products."
