Park Kyung-seok, Former Head of Jeonjangyeon, "Representative Lee Edits Facts Like Writing a Novel"

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] The National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Jeonjangyeon), which organized the Seoul subway 'protest for the mobility rights of persons with disabilities,' has warned that if Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, does not apologize, protests may also be held on Line 2.
Park Kyung-seok, the representative of Jeonjangyeon, attending a head-shaving protest held on the 30th at Gyeongbokgung Station in Seoul, warned, "If Lee Jun-seok does not officially apologize, we will ride both Lines 2 and 5."
He added, "The reason (Jeonjangyeon) rides Line 2 is solely due to the problem arising from the reason Lee said he 'does not ride Line 2.'"
Park’s remarks targeted a post Lee made on his Facebook on the 27th. On that day, Lee claimed, "The targets of inconvenience caused by Jeonjangyeon are residents of low-income residential areas such as Nowon, Dobong, Gangbuk, and Seongbuk on Line 4, and Goyang, Eunpyeong, and Seodaemun on Line 3," adding, "They dare not touch the circular Line 2 for fear of backlash."
In response, Park explained, "The reason we ride Lines 3 and 4 is because Gyeongbokgung Station is on Line 3 and the Presidential Transition Committee is here," and "Line 4 is where the former Jeonjangyeon representative was seriously injured while using a lift."

He continued, "That is why we conduct publicity campaigns at Hyehwa Station and ride Line 4," and criticized, "What Lee edited as if writing a novel is not the truth."
Meanwhile, Jeonjangyeon held a 'relay head-shaving protest resolution ceremony' at Gyeongbokgung Station instead of the usual boarding and alighting protests on the same day.
Jeonjangyeon stated, "Yesterday, the Presidential Transition Committee officially requested that the public stop the 'boarding the subway on the way to work' action, as the public sufficiently understands its purpose," and explained, "Therefore, the 'boarding the subway on the way to work' protest was halted today and switched to a head-shaving protest."
They also urged, "The Transition Committee is demanded to provide a response to the disability rights budget proposal submitted by Jeonjangyeon by April 20."
Meanwhile, Lee posted again on Facebook that day, clearly indicating he has no intention to apologize to Jeonjangyeon. He stated, "There is nothing to apologize for, and do not ride Line 2. This is a warning for Jeonjangyeon," and claimed, "This is the logic of the group called Jeonjangyeon: 'Lee Jun-seok won’t apologize? Then we will ride Line 2 and bother tens of thousands of people, and blame you. Won’t apologize?'"
