[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] At 8:15 AM on the 27th (Korea time), a magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred 129 km southwest of Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan, according to the Meteorological Agency citing foreign observation agencies.

The epicenter was at 42.30 degrees north latitude and 143.10 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 60 km.
