- Posco Pohang Steelworks, Pohang Steel Industrial Complex, the representative industrial complexes of Pohang, offer fast and convenient commuting
- Ocheon-eup, a non-regulated area with rarity nationwide... Existing homeowners can apply for subscription, no resale restrictions
Ilseong Construction's 'The Truel Pohang,' currently being sold in the Gujeong-ri area of Ocheon-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang City, will officially begin its subscription schedule today with a special supply. Upcoming schedules include first-priority subscription on the 28th (Monday) and second-priority subscription on the 29th (Tuesday). The announcement of winners will be on April 4th (Monday), and the official contract signing will take place over five days from April 15th (Friday) to 19th (Tuesday) at The Truel Pohang model house.
The Truel Pohang operates both a physical model house and a cyber model house simultaneously to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Detailed information related to the sale, such as the complex’s special features, unit configurations, and future schedules, can be checked at the cyber model house, where major unit types are rendered in VR to allow a realistic interior viewing experience.
Meanwhile, Ocheon-eup, where The Truel Pohang is being developed, is known as a rare non-regulated area nationwide, attracting many inquiries from investors, according to sales officials. The complex is relatively free from loan restrictions, allows homeowners to apply, and has no resale restrictions.
The Truel Pohang is gaining attention as a workplace-proximity complex, which has recently become popular in the real estate market. Workplace-proximity complexes have established themselves as steady sellers in the existing real estate market, and especially since the implementation of the 52-hour workweek, leisure time has increased, further boosting their preference.
In fact, apartments near industrial complexes continue to perform strongly in both the sales and resale markets. In February, the 'Gimhae Jangyu Yeok Hanla Vivaldi Centro,' supplied in Naedeok-dong, Gimhae City, adjacent to the Gimhae Golden Route General Industrial Complex and Seogimhae General Industrial Complex, received 4,855 applications for 266 units in the first-priority subscription, recording an average competition rate of 18.25 to 1.
The Truel Pohang is located within a 5-minute drive to POSCO Pohang Steelworks and is near the Pohang Steel Industrial Complex and Pohang General Industrial Complex, enabling quick and convenient commuting. Additionally, the Pohang Blue Valley National Industrial Complex, designated as a next-generation battery recycling regulatory-free zone, is under development, promising the creation of large-scale jobs and further influx of demand.
Moreover, via the Nampo-hang IC, it is possible to reach Ulsan, a leading domestic heavy industry city, within 30 minutes. The nearby Haebyeong-ro, Naengcheon-ro, and Yeongilman-daero roads provide convenient access not only to downtown Pohang but also to surrounding areas.
In addition to excellent workplace proximity, The Truel Pohang boasts a superior residential environment. Emart Pohang branch and Samgwang Market are located within a 5-minute drive, and the food alley in Wondong across Naengcheon, Megabox Nampo-hang branch, Emart, and various academies are easily accessible.
It is a 'Chopuma' apartment located right in front of Gujeong Elementary School, and it also offers an excellent educational environment with the Pohang City Ocheon Library nearby. Various sports facilities such as an indoor swimming pool and volleyball court, as well as a multi-functional complex living facility including a care center called the Dawon Complex Center, are being developed near the complex for convenient use.
Furthermore, large-scale housing development projects such as the Wondong District and Yongsan District are underway in Ocheon-eup, where the complex is located, and it is expected to become a representative new residential town in the Pohang area. Once the ongoing housing district developments are completed, the living environment is expected to improve further.
Next to the complex is Naengcheon, where Pohang City is investing 1.5 billion KRW to create a resting space and natural cultural shelter for citizens as part of a maintenance project. Additionally, a park (Gujeong Park) is planned to be developed nearby through an urban planning facility project, promising a pleasant living environment.
