Swedish Parliament Video Speech Urges Unlimited Military Support for NATO

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, stated that Ukraine deserves to become a full member of the European Union (EU).
On the 24th (local time) at the Swedish Parliament, President Zelensky delivered a video speech, emphasizing, "It has now been a month (since Russia's invasion of Ukraine)," and added, "We have not seen destruction on this scale since World War II."
He continued, "Look at what the Russian army has done to Ukraine; bombings similar to those seen in Syria have continued for a month."
President Zelensky said, "We are fighting not only for the Ukrainian people but also for the security of Europe," and stated, "(Through this) we have shown that we deserve to become a full member of the EU."
He also condemned the Russian army for using white phosphorus, an indiscriminate weapon, and urged the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to provide unlimited military support.
The 349 members of the Swedish Riksdag gave a standing ovation as President Zelensky's live broadcast speech concluded.
