Gochang Cultural City Support Center Recruiting 'Citizen Activists' Until the 1st of Next Month

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeonbuk Gochang Cultural City Support Center announced on the 24th that it is recruiting citizen activists to participate in the Cultural Field Citizen Promotion Group and Citizen Culture Leader Training, which will lead the preliminary cultural city project on the ground.

The Gochang Cultural City Support Center operates an educational program to strengthen expertise in order to complement citizens' cultural activities, following last year's training of facilitators and food art therapy professionals.

The ‘2022 Cultural Field Citizen Promotion Group’ is recruiting a total of 10 cultural village chiefs and cultural factory managers until the 1st of next month.

The selected cultural village chiefs and cultural factory managers will support various cultural activities as practical managers of the cultural city preliminary project and mentors for projects proposed by residents for eight months starting from April.

The ‘Citizen Culture Leader Training Course’ is recruiting 25 people including residents, village leaders, cultural activists, and cultural planners until the 31st of this month.

The culture leader training will be held in 10 sessions starting next month, where participants will be educated on field communication techniques with residents, know-how on conducting discussion meetings, agenda discovery know-how, problem-solving methods, and activity recording methods.

Last year, to resolve difficulties and limitations faced by field activists in citizen forums and the Gochang Cultural Assembly, field experts were invited to pursue qualitative changes.
