[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Igor Morgulov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, is reported to have met with Shin Hong-chul, North Korean Ambassador to Russia.
According to major foreign media on the 22nd, Deputy Minister Morgulov met with Ambassador Shin to discuss ways to develop mutual relations in the context of changes in the international situation.
This meeting took place amid increasing international sanctions and isolation following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Last month, North Korea criticized the 'hegemonic policies' of the United States and the West regarding the Ukraine situation.
