Gyeongnam Office of Education held a Regional Education Business Council meeting at Jinju Education Support Office on the 21st.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] On the 21st, the Gyeongnam Office of Education held a regional education work council under the theme "Gyeongnam Education is the Future Education of the Republic of Korea" to complete a future education system that reflects regional characteristics.
Before the council, Superintendent Park Jong-hoon met with Jinju Education Director Park Young-joo and representatives of local schools to review the quarantine measures and academic status in preparation for the spread of Omicron in each school, and discussed the roles and cooperation methods of school members for safe school life and student-tailored future education.
In the first part of the Regional Education Work Council, parents and local education activists attended to review the achievements made together with the Jinju Office of Education and the educational community.

Since March this year, a space has been prepared where parents can experience the smart devices distributed to all students to help parents understand policies, observe changes and growth for Jinju's future education, and find the most suitable development plan.
In the second part, a field survey was conducted with 40 council participants, and thoughts were shared focusing on the most curious and necessary policies among responsible education that opens the possibilities of all children, education preparing for the future, and education policies coexisting with the region.
Parent Park Jeong-seon, who has kindergarten and elementary school children, said, "I was worried because my children could not attend school due to COVID-19, but I was able to attend classes using iTalkTalk, which reduced the burden in terms of class progress and participation."
Education Director Park Young-joo said, "We will do our best to help everyone overcome COVID-19 well so that Jinju education, known for loyalty and cultural arts, can change and grow to the next level."
Superintendent Park Jong-hoon said, "The passion and capabilities of schools in the Jinju area will be a great force to open the future education of Gyeongnam," and added, "Let's solve problems through communication and sharing, further develop strengths, and strive to realize future education beyond overcoming COVID-19 and educational innovation."
