The Largest Automotive Maintenance Association in Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Shinhan Bank announced on the 21st that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for cooperation with the Korea Automobile Professional Maintenance Business Association Federation (Carpos) targeting its members. Carpos is the largest federation in Korea, with over 18,000 small and medium-sized automobile professional maintenance businesses as members, organized into 18 regional associations nationwide.
Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank will provide services such as 'visiting comprehensive financial consulting' by matching dedicated branch staff, a dedicated non-face-to-face consultation application process for Carpos members, preferential interest rate reductions on corporate loans for members, and customized consulting at the Shinhan SOHO Success Support Center. Carpos will actively cooperate on matters necessary for financial support services for its members.
A Shinhan Bank official stated, "Through this business agreement, we hope to fulfill the bank's social responsibility and provide comprehensive financial solutions to self-employed individuals affiliated with Carpos, leading to a virtuous cycle of mutual growth by revitalizing the maintenance industry." He added, "We will continue to fulfill our fundamental financial role for the development of the automobile maintenance industry, which is experiencing an economic downturn, based on close mutual cooperation with Carpos."
