[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation is recruiting the first cohort of ‘2022 G-IN Next Level’ until the 8th of next month to discover promising technology-based startups in the region and nurture them into excellent companies.
G-IN Next Level is an investment-linked acceleration program conducted by the Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation for direct investment and follow-up investment connections.
The recruitment fields cover all technology startups with high business potential in the Gwangju Center’s specialized areas, including ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI) ▲Eco-friendly (Hydrogen) Mobility ▲Renewable Energy ▲Bio/Health ▲Eco-friendly Industry.
This program targets local startups with excellent technology and high growth potential.
Various programs are planned, such as market research and similar patent investigations to verify market entry and product competitiveness of local startups, and strengthening IR capabilities through 1:1 customized mentoring with investors.
The final selected companies will also receive direct investment using the investment fund operated by the Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation.
The Gwangju Center, serving as an investment hub for local startups to attract investment, operates various investment attraction programs and forms multiple private investment associations, including the Honam Angel Investment Hub private investment association, a mother fund, to conduct direct investments.
Center Director Ha Sang-yong said, “This investment program, conducted for direct investment in startups, will play a central role in regional investment,” adding, “We will spare no effort to make Gwangju ‘a city with a high startup success rate’ through successful investment attraction.”
