[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Nongshim announced on the 21st that it will launch a new product, ‘Shinbokgetti Keunsabalmyeon,’ inspired by modishumer (consumers who create new ways to use products by mixing ingredients in their own style) recipes, following ‘Jjapaguri’ and ‘Kaguri.’
Shinbokgetti Keunsabalmyeon features a flavor that combines the spicy taste of Shin Ramyun Bokkeummyeon and the savory jjajang sauce of Jjapagetti. In particular, it offers a unique and chewy texture with ‘banbanmyeon,’ a mix of the thick noodles of Jjapagetti and the thin noodles of Shin Ramyun Bokkeummyeon. The toppings include cabbage, carrots, and fish cakes embossed with the character ‘신 (辛),’ adding visual enjoyment. It is designed for convenience, allowing cooking in a microwave without separately draining the water.
A Nongshim official said, “We believe the trend of creating new recipes by mixing various ramen will continue,” and added, “We will introduce modishumer products that provide consumers with unique enjoyment through diverse combinations.”
