[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 20th, the government held an emergency NSC Vice Ministers' Meeting chaired by the First Deputy Director of the National Security Office from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM regarding North Korea's short-range projectile launch.

The attendees agreed to conduct a detailed analysis of the projectile's specifications through close cooperation between South Korea and the United States, while maintaining vigilance over the recent series of North Korean missile launches and closely monitoring related developments.

They also emphasized maintaining a solid and seamless readiness posture based on the enhanced capabilities of our military and the ROK-US alliance to prevent any security gaps during the government transition period.
