[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] JV M, a subsidiary of HanmiScience, is accelerating its entry into the global pharmaceutical automatic dispensing market.

JV M announced on the 17th that it participated in the international pharmacy supplies exhibition ‘Pharmagora Plus 2022’ held in France on the 12th and 13th, showcasing innovative devices.

Pharmagora, now in its 34th year, is one of the largest pharmaceutical industry exhibitions in Europe with over 400 participating companies. JV M’s European branch, JVM EU, located in the Netherlands, attended this exhibition.

JV M introduced its representative innovative devices including ▲ATDPS (Automatic Tablet Dispensing and Packaging System) ▲VIZEN (Automatic Pharmaceutical Inspection Solution) ▲WIZER (Automatic Dispensing Cutting and Winding System).

ATDPS is a fully automatic pharmaceutical sorting and packaging system that integrates with hospital prescription systems or pharmacy computer systems to automatically classify, distribute, and package medicines. VIZEN is an automatic packaging inspection system that detects errors by automatically inspecting pouches completed by ATDPS based on pharmaceutical information in its internal database. WIZER is a sorting solution that automatically rolls, cuts, and packages inspected pouches according to customer demand for patients, pharmacies, or nursing homes.

A JV M official said, “Due to the impact of COVID-19, demand for JV M’s automation equipment continues to increase,” adding, “We expect competitiveness to grow further by launching customized equipment for overseas markets where non-face-to-face remote medical care and online pharmaceutical delivery are expanding.”

Additionally, JV M will participate in ‘Infarma Madrid 2022,’ hosted by the Spanish Pharmaceutical Society from the 22nd for three days, and the Australian ‘APP (Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference) 2022’ held from the 24th to 27th, where it will unveil its new product ‘VIZEN EX.’

VIZEN EX is a state-of-the-art inspection solution with approximately five times the efficiency of existing equipment. Integrated with the prescription system of the automatic dispensing system, the latest camera installed inside the device can inspect and analyze up to 400 pouches per minute, dramatically improving accuracy and efficiency.
