Remote Medical Platform DoctorNow Surpasses 900,000 Users in February... Reaches a Total of 2.3 Million Users


[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Remote medical platform DoctorNow announced on the 15th that the number of users exceeded 900,000 last month.


According to DoctorNow, the number of users in February reached approximately 900,000, and app downloads were about 600,000. Since launching the non-face-to-face consultation and prescription drug delivery service in December 2020, the cumulative number of users has surpassed 2.3 million, and cumulative app downloads have exceeded 1.4 million.


DoctorNow has partnered with over 600 medical institutions nationwide, making it the platform with the most medical professionals in the industry. Among them, specialists from hospitals and clinics account for 50%, and as non-face-to-face consultations have become widespread, the number of consultations increased about 108 times compared to February last year.


Currently, DoctorNow offers 19 medical specialties including pediatrics, otorhinolaryngology, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, and urology, focusing on enhancing user convenience.


Jang Ji-ho, CEO of DoctorNow, said, "Since launching the non-face-to-face consultation and prescription drug delivery service, we have maintained an average monthly growth rate of over 30%. Amid the ongoing spread of COVID-19, we are doing our best with a sense of mission to ensure the safety and convenience of patients together with our partner medical institutions."
