Mountaineer Captain Um Hong-gil, who has been continuously active as the honorary ambassador since the pre-festival, and actress Park Gyuri, who is expanding her acting career in films and dramas between Korea and Japan, will serve as the 7th festival’s Umpinist.
Park Gyuri debuted as a child actress and gained significant attention as a singer both domestically and internationally. Since 2016, she has appeared in various roles in films such as ‘Two Loves’, ‘How to Break Up’, and ‘Each One’s Gourmet’, meeting audiences with diverse characters.
Always unafraid of challenges and showing a confident image, Park Gyuri is an actress who resembles the Ulju World Mountain Film Festival’s spirit of challenge and love for nature.
Mountaineer Um Hong-gil and actress Park Gyuri plan to engage in various promotional activities for the festival, including meeting audiences in person at the opening ceremony of the 7th festival on April 1.
The Ulju World Mountain Film Festival will be held from April 1 to 10, 2022, at the ‘Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center’ in Ulju-gun, showcasing 148 films from 42 countries along with various experiential programs.
