[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Pfizer Korea announced on the 8th that it has delivered the ‘2022 Pfizer Love Scholarship’ to the Korea-America Chamber of Commerce’s Future Partner Foundation to nurture and support talents who will lead the future Korean society.
The Pfizer Love Scholarship is a regular social contribution activity by Pfizer Korea that supports university students facing economic difficulties to continue their studies. It started in 2002 and marked its 21st year this year. The donations raised over the past year through the voluntary participation of Pfizer Korea employees were entrusted to the Future Partner Foundation and will be awarded to a total of 14 domestic university students. Over the past 21 years, approximately 4 billion KRW has been donated, supporting the growth of future talents for a total of 856 domestic university students.
Odongwook, CEO of Pfizer Korea, said, “Although the recent years have been difficult due to the COVID-19 situation, I hope this will be a meaningful support and hope for university students who will lead Korea to pursue their dreams.” He added, “We will continue to support the nurturing of future talents and, based on our corporate goal of ‘innovation that changes patients’ lives,’ take the lead in improving the domestic treatment environment and fulfill our role as a responsible corporate citizen.”
