[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Moon Junyoung (33), leader of the idol group ZE:A, was caught by the police for drunk driving.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 8th that Moon is under investigation for violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving). According to the police, Moon is accused of driving his car in a heavily intoxicated state on a road near Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the night of the 6th. At that time, he drove the wrong way on a one-way street and got into an argument with a driver coming from the opposite direction. The driver suspected Moon of drunk driving and reported it to the police.
When the police arrived at the scene and conducted a breathalyzer test on Moon, his blood alcohol concentration was found to be at a level warranting license cancellation. The police identified Moon and then allowed him to go home. A police official stated, "We plan to summon Moon for further investigation."
