Barunson Card Relocates Seoul Office to Gangnam Central Area

Barunson Card's Seoul office will relocate to Exit 8 of Gangnam Station on the 18th.

Gangnam Station is the central area of the Gangnam district, boasting a commuting population of 1.2 million. In particular, Exit 8 of Gangnam Station is home to many large corporations, including Samsung Electronics Seocho Office.

Barunson Card, which operates in a dual structure based on the Paju Publishing Complex and various offices in Seoul, was established in 1970. Since the corporate separation of Barunson Fancy in 1982, it has become the origin of many Barunson affiliates and related companies.

Based on its long history and tradition, it has stood out in various fields to this day. In 2020, director Bong Joon-ho, who won the Academy Award for Best Picture with the film Parasite, expressed his gratitude by saying, “I thank the production company Barunson and CJ Entertainment for enabling me to realize my vision,” once again making the name 'Barunson' known worldwide.

Recently, the company has also entered the F&B business, launching the premium beef brand 'The Porterhouse,' which has received much love from consumers.

Kim Seon-gil, Head of Public Relations and Marketing Planning at the headquarters, stated, “With the relocation of the Seoul office to Gangnam, we expect to cooperate more organically with affiliates and related companies,” adding, “We will also be able to maintain closer relationships with various partners such as Samsung Electronics.”
