According to Seoul Metropolitan Government and other local governments, from midnight to 9 PM on the same day, 244,889 people across 17 cities and provinces nationwide were confirmed positive for COVID-19. This is 25,649 more than the previous record of 219,240 cases reported on the 2nd (as of midnight).
From the 25th of last month, the daily new cases counted at midnight for one week were 165,889 → 166,201 → 163,562 → 139,626 → 138,993 → 219,240 → 198,803, averaging about 170,331 cases per day.
