Jeonnam Jangseong-gun Extends Application Period for Small Business Owners' Quarantine Supplies Support

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that it has extended the second application period for quarantine supplies support funds for small businesses and small merchants by one month.

The support targets are 16 types of facilities subject to mandatory quarantine passes, such as entertainment facilities, karaoke rooms, restaurants, and cafes, that are not closed or suspended as of the application date. If one person operates two or more eligible businesses, they can receive support for each registered business separately.

The support items include quarantine-related supplies and equipment such as QR code verification terminals, hand sanitizers, masks, thermometers, disinfectors (disinfectant water), and partitions purchased after December 3 of last year, with up to 100,000 KRW supported per business.

Small businesses and small merchants wishing to apply can attach their business registration certificate, bankbook copy, and quarantine supplies purchase receipts, then access the Jangseong-gun Office website by the 25th of this month and click the ‘Small Business Quarantine Supplies Support Fund’ banner to apply.

A county official said, “We extended the application period because we judged that small merchants are having difficulties securing purchase-related evidence,” and added, “We will continue to promote so that more local small merchants can receive support.”
