Top Grade in Six Categories Including Temperature Performance, Energy, and Noise
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] Samsung Electronics announced on the 2nd that it ranked first in the evaluation of ‘top refrigeration, bottom freezing’ refrigerators conducted by the UK consumer media ‘Which’.
Previously, Samsung refrigerators also ranked first in French door, single-door refrigerators, and single-door freezers.
This evaluation of top refrigeration and bottom freezing refrigerators was conducted on a total of 28 brands and 160 models. Three Samsung Electronics models (RB38A7B6BB1, RB38A7B53S9, RB38A7B5312) tied for first place with a total score of 90 points. They were also selected as ‘Recommended Products’ and ‘Eco Buys.’
These products were first introduced to the European market in May last year. They received the highest rating of ‘5 stars’ in six categories including fast cooling/freezing speed, temperature stability, accurate temperature, energy consumption, and noise.
Which stated, “Even when external temperature fluctuations are severe, both the upper and lower compartments inside the refrigerator maintained the best condition for storing food,” and “Among the evaluated models, it had the best energy efficiency and the lowest operating costs.”
Samsung’s top refrigeration and bottom freezing refrigerators included a total of six products in the ‘Top 10,’ including the three models that tied for first place.
Lee Moo-hyung, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Home Appliance Business Division, said, “Samsung refrigerators are being recognized for their differentiated product quality in the UK,” and added, “We will continue to strive to expand eco-friendly products that improve not only product performance but also energy consumption efficiency worldwide.”
