AmorePacific to Raise Prices of Shampoo, Toothpaste, and More by 10% Starting March

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Amorepacific will raise consumer prices of major daily necessities such as shampoo and toothpaste by around 10% starting next month.

According to Amorepacific on the 27th, prices of about 30 products including Median toothpaste and Mise-en-sc?ne Perfect Serum line shampoo and conditioner will increase by around 10% from next month.

For example, ‘Median Tartar Care Original·Guchikwa Science (120g·3-pack)’ will increase by 1,000 KRW (10.1%) from 9,900 KRW to 10,900 KRW.

‘Median Gum Science (120g·3-pack)’ will rise by 1,000 KRW (8.4%) from the current 11,900 KRW to 12,900 KRW.

In the case of ‘Mise-en-sc?ne Perfect Serum Shampoo·Conditioner (680ml·1-pack)’, the price will increase by 2,000 KRW (15.4%) from 13,000 KRW to 15,000 KRW each.

An Amorepacific official said, “Due to the increase in raw material and transportation costs, we have inevitably raised the prices of some daily necessities.”
