Breakup Announcement After 3 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Broadcasters Jeon Hyun-moo and Lee Hye-seong have put an end to their noisy romance.
On the 22nd, both parties' agencies, SM C&C, announced, "Jeon Hyun-moo and Lee Hye-seong recently broke up," adding, "They will remain strong supporters who provide strength to each other."
The agency stated, "Since their relationship was public, both must have felt even more 고민 and weight," and asked, "Please continue to warmly watch over their future activities as you have until now."
Rumors of Jeon Hyun-moo and Lee Hye-seong's breakup have been circulating in the broadcasting industry since the end of last year. On last Christmas, Jeon Hyun-moo posted on his social network service (SNS) that he was spending the day alone, raising suspicions that the two had broken up. On the 21st, Lee Hye-seong hinted at the breakup by sharing a page from writer Oh Soo-young's book, 'A Long Farewell.'
Both are former KBS announcers currently working as freelance broadcasters. Jeon Hyun-moo joined KBS in 2006 and left in 2012. He appears on numerous programs such as 'I Live Alone' and 'The Manager.'
Lee Hye-seong joined KBS as an announcer in 2016 and has been dating Jeon Hyun-moo since 2019, the same year she submitted her resignation. She later signed an exclusive contract with the agency representing Jeon Hyun-moo and is currently active as a broadcaster.
