[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Jeju Air announced on the 21st that it will operate night flights on the Cheongju~Jeju route using Cheongju International Airport, which operates 24 hours.
Jeju Air will operate a total of 18 night flights (9 round trips) twice a week on Fridays and Sundays from the 27th of this month to the 25th of next month to facilitate weekend travelers using Cheongju Airport for trips to Jeju.
The night flight schedule for the Cheongju~Jeju route departs from Cheongju Airport at 9:30 PM and arrives at Jeju International Airport at 10:40 PM. From Jeju Airport, the flight departs at 10:20 PM and arrives at Cheongju Airport at 11:30 PM.
Jeju Air expects that this night flight operation will greatly expand the range of travel schedule options for customers traveling to Jeju using Cheongju Airport.
Currently, the last flight departing from Cheongju Airport to Jeju leaves at 7:30 PM. The last flight departing from Jeju Airport to Cheongju leaves at 9:00 PM. Compared to existing flights, both departure and arrival times are more flexible, allowing for a wider selection of travel schedules.
