"If you have no interest, even blind dates won't work. It's fine whether there's a man or not."
[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Actress Lee Kyung-jin revealed that a doctor who once liked her married her younger sister and is now her brother-in-law.
On the 20th, actress Lee Kyung-jin appeared on TV Chosun's 'Star Docu My Way' and invited actors Kim Chang-sook and voice actress Song Do-soon to her home for a meal, where she shared this story.
Kim Chang-sook expressed regret to the 67-year-old unmarried Lee Kyung-jin, saying, "I once tried to introduce someone, but you were busy reading scripts. You seemed unwilling to accept introductions because you were so immersed in acting." Lee Kyung-jin replied, "If you don't have feelings, even a blind date won't work. You don't necessarily need a man. It's fine whether there is one or not. It would be nice to eat out or play golf together. I can just talk with my sisters."
Kim Chang-sook and Song Do-soon shook their heads, saying, "What marriage? Don't do it."
Kim Chang-sook added, "I heard a story before. Lee Kyung-jin's younger sister is also pretty, and a doctor who wanted to be matched with Lee Kyung-jin came to the house and waited. But after talking with the sister, he ended up marrying the younger sister," sparking curiosity.
In response, Lee Kyung-jin explained, "He was a doctor living next door and kept chasing me, saying he was a fan and wanted to have coffee."
She went on to say that while she was busy reading scripts and couldn't pay attention to the man who came to her house, her younger sister talked with him, and the two eventually became a married couple. Kim Chang-sook and Song Do-soon expressed amazement, saying, "That's really an amazing story."
