[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Asung Daiso, a fixed-price lifestyle goods store, announced on the 18th that it will hold a ‘New Semester Supplies Special Exhibition’ ahead of the new school term.
This special exhibition is designed to help elementary, middle, and high school students prepare for the new semester by offering a selection of products. It features over 400 items including stationery, storage products, and hygiene supplies. Additionally, writing instruments from the office supplies company Monami have been newly planned to expand the range of choices.
New semester supplies for elementary students include stationery, bags, and hygiene products. Writing tools such as pencils, pens, and erasers are prepared, and ‘pen grips’ that fit onto pencils or pens are made of soft materials to reduce finger fatigue, making them ideal for elementary students who are not yet accustomed to writing. Notebooks are planned for ‘notification books,’ ‘diaries,’ and ‘dictation,’ and learning supplies such as colored pencils and crayons are sold.
The ‘Disney children’s bags’ designed with Disney characters are appropriately sized for elementary students, and indoor shoe bags include cost-effective and stylish ‘drawstring shoe pouches’ and ‘Care Bear shoe pouches.’ Hygiene products include toothbrush cups, kids’ toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
New semester supplies for middle and high school students feature writing instruments prominently. The ‘3-color ultra-low viscosity ballpoint pen’ comes in black, blue, and red, characterized by a smooth writing feel. The ‘knock-type gel pen’ dries quickly to prevent smudging and uses special ink for dark and clear writing. Notebooks include innovative products. The ‘notebook convenient for writing on the back’ is a ring notebook but has rings only at the top and bottom, making writing easier, and the ‘antibacterial lined notebook’ has an antibacterial coating on the cover that helps inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, making it more hygienic than regular notebooks.
Monami writing instruments are priced only at 1,000 won and 2,000 won to enhance cost-effectiveness. They include ballpoint pens, name pens, and highlighters, selling Monami’s representative product ‘153 ballpoint pen,’ the ‘Monami name pen’ with dark and clear ink, and the ‘Edding Super highlighter’ which uses milder colors than conventional highlighters.
New semester supplies designed with Kakao Friends are also prepared. The ‘Little Friends mini tarpaulin bag’ is suitable for use as a shoe pouch or supply bag, and notebooks are designed in A5 and B5 sizes with cute designs that catch the eye.
An Asung Daiso official said, “We prepared this special exhibition so that students can get ready for school in advance,” and added, “We hope you enjoy an exciting new semester with Daiso’s new semester supplies.”
