[Special Stock] E&Co, Subsidiary Wins SK Hynix Cheongju Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Contract

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] E& Corporation is showing strength. The news that its subsidiary Hanseong Cleantec secured a construction contract worth 35.4 billion KRW from SK Hynix appears to have influenced the stock price.

As of 12:15 PM on the 17th, E& Corporation is trading at 3,730 KRW, up 4.78% from the previous day.

Water treatment design, procurement, and construction (EPC) company Hanseong Cleantec will establish the wastewater treatment system at SK Hynix's Cheongju plant. Hanseong Cleantec has created an opportunity to diversify its client base and expand its business.

A company representative stated, "We secured the contract by being recognized for our decades of accumulated water treatment know-how, project execution capabilities, and technical expertise," adding, "With continuous investments in semiconductor and display facilities this year, the outlook for new orders is positive."

Hanseong Cleantec's total orders last year amounted to 185.5 billion KRW, marking the largest scale in its history.
