Suncheon-si Recruiting Students for 'Garden Master Training Course'

Professional Leader Training Course to Lead Suncheon’s Garden Culture and Garden Industry
Recruiting 25 Participants Each for Garden Material Producers and Garden Design Classes from the 21st to 23rd

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 16th that it is recruiting students for the first half of this year’s Garden Master training course to cultivate professional leaders who will lead the future garden culture and industry.

The Garden Master training course is an advanced program, and applicants must be majors or workers in garden-related fields or have completed garden education such as the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) training operated by Suncheon City or garden expert programs in Jeollanam-do.

The first half of the year’s training consists of two courses (Garden Material Producers Course, Garden Design Course), and applicants can apply for both. Each course will recruit 25 people and provide 45 hours (once a week, 15 weeks) of combined theory and practical training.

If participants complete all four courses, including the two courses scheduled for the second half of the year (Garden Creation and Management Course, Garden Culture Coordination Course), they will be awarded the Suncheon City certified Garden Master certificate, encompassing garden culture and industry.

Those wishing to apply should submit the application form and supporting documents such as career certificates via email to the Garden Industry Division of Suncheon City from the 21st to the 23rd.

A representative from the Garden Industry Division of Suncheon City stated, “With the opening of the Suncheonman Garden Market, which sells garden trees and materials, and the upcoming 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo, we expect Garden Masters equipped with both theory and practice to lead garden culture and industry in various fields in daily life. We ask for the interest and participation of citizens who are interested.”
