[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The court has once again dismissed the third injunction request filed by Heo Kyung-young, the presidential candidate of the National Revolutionary Party, who demanded that the second TV debate scheduled for the day after tomorrow, involving only the four ruling parties' presidential candidates, be canceled.

On the 9th, the Civil Agreement Division 21 of the Seoul Western District Court held a hearing on Heo's injunction request to prohibit broadcasts inviting presidential candidates, filed against four comprehensive programming channels and two news-specialized channels, and made this decision.

The court stated, "The National Revolutionary Party holds no seats in the National Assembly, and Heo's average support rate in opinion polls does not reach 5%," and pointed out that inviting only the candidates from the four ruling parties to the debate is a "reasonable and substantial distinction."

Previously, Heo had filed two similar injunction requests against terrestrial broadcasters, but all were dismissed.
