Han River Group, a real estate development specialist known under the brand name ‘Duke Class,’ announced on the 7th that it has purchased land in the Daebudo area of Ansan City, which is being developed as a marine tourism hub, and will proceed with development into a mixed-use commercial facility.
Han River Group established its position as a developer by achieving orders worth 8 trillion KRW in 2021 and has successfully carried out numerous projects nationwide, including officetels and knowledge industry centers, leading regional industries.
The group plans to develop a large-scale mixed-use commercial facility of approximately 28,585㎡ in the Daebudo area of Ansan City, including residential lodging facilities, officetels, and hotels. This is expected to become a landmark in Daebudo, where accommodation facilities are insufficient due to the increase in tourists.
Daebudo, a prominent tourism center, is being fostered as a representative marine leisure tourism zone within the metropolitan area with developments such as the Bangameori Marina Port and the Treasure Island Project underway. Significant development benefits, including road infrastructure expansion and the Siwha Lake waterway project, are attracting attention due to the rise in tourists.
Above all, Daebudo has locational advantages as a tourist destination, being accessible within one hour from Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong provinces. It also offers easy future access via public transportation through the Sinansan Line, Sosa-Wonsi double-track railway, and West Coast double-track railway.
The residential lodging facilities in the mixed-use commercial complex developed by Han River Group in the Daebudo area of Ansan City have the advantage of no special regulations, allowing private lodging operations and no restrictions on the number of basement floors, which is expected to attract investor interest.
