Air Busan Opens Incheon~Vladivostok Air Route... Inauguration Ceremony on the 5th, Operates Once Every Other Saturday On the morning of the 5th at 10:30 AM, a ceremony for the launch of the regular Incheon-Vladivostok route was held at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, attended by Air Busan CEO Ahn Byung-seok and employees.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Air Busan has launched a regular route connecting Incheon and Vladivostok.

Air Busan announced on the 6th that on the 5th at 10:30 a.m., a launch ceremony for the Incheon~Vladivostok route was held at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, attended by CEO Ahn Byung-seok and employees.

Air Busan's Incheon~Vladivostok route operates as a regular flight once every two weeks on Saturdays.

The flight departs Incheon International Airport at 11:15 a.m. and arrives at Vladivostok International Airport at 3:00 p.m. The return flight departs the local airport at 6:05 p.m. and arrives at Incheon International Airport at 8:00 p.m. The aircraft used is an A320 with 180 seats.

Vladivostok, the administrative center of Russia's Primorsky Krai and the largest city in the Far East region, is a geopolitically strategic point where Russia's New Eastern Policy and Korea's New Northern Policy intersect, making it a route with high demand due to active exchanges between the two countries.

Until now, many passengers needed to travel for essential reasons such as business trips and visiting relatives, but the route was inconvenient due to the limited operation by national airlines.

Over the past year, about 20,000 people used this route, but only Russian national airlines operated flights.

An Air Busan official said, "With the launch of the Incheon~Vladivostok route, passenger convenience will greatly improve, and it is expected to serve as a catalyst for cooperation and exchange between Korea and Russia."

Tickets can be purchased through the Air Busan website, mobile web, and app. To commemorate the first flight, Air Busan will expand the free checked baggage allowance from the existing 15kg to 23kg for customers who purchase economy class tickets and board by June.

Arrivals in Vladivostok must carry an English PCR negative certificate tested within 48 hours of arrival time when entering Russia. Koreans can enter visa-free.

Information on entry requirements and quarantine standards can be found on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website or the Vladivostok Consulate General's notices.
