Gaseyeon Exposes Whistleblower's Voice As Is
"Reported to Inform About Unjust and Illegal Society"

[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Mr. A, a former Gyeonggi Provincial Government official who revealed that he was mobilized for personal errands of Kim Hye-kyung, spouse of Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, appealed through the release of a real-name recorded audio file video by the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon)' that "Currently, my family and I are experiencing severe anxiety and immense stress to the point of wanting to give up on life."
On the 4th, Mr. A stated in a position paper, "I reported this not for any political advantage or the benefit of a particular faction, but simply to inform society of the injustice and illegality that occurred within an organization," adding, "An audio file that was provided only to media outlets by a YouTube channel (Gaseyeon) was released without voice alteration and with real names."
He continued, "I express regret over the irresponsible reporting of the program and ask that no media outlet broadcast or distribute unaltered audio files in the future," and requested, "Please do not use my family’s and my honor and safety for the election."
Earlier, on the 3rd, Gaseyeon aired a broadcast regarding allegations against Ms. Kim, exposing the phone conversation between Mr. A and Kim’s executive secretary Mr. Bae as it was. The video uploaded by Gaseyeon is currently set to private.
Mr. A is reportedly moving between hotels daily due to feeling threatened. He also expressed distress, saying, "After the allegations were reported, I received repeated contacts from the Lee candidate’s side."
Meanwhile, on the 28th of last month, Mr. A revealed that he was instructed by Mr. Bae, a close aide of candidate Lee and a Grade 5 public official, to run personal errands such as proxy prescription of medicine for Ms. Kim, food delivery, and organizing her wardrobe. Subsequently, he disclosed additional allegations including misuse of Ms. Kim’s corporate card, laundry errands, use of official vehicles, and proxy completion of medical questionnaires.
