Lee stated, "Candidate Lee Jae-myung's pledge to 'install solar power generation panels at drowsy rest areas to use them as shade shelters, and utilize the generated electricity for rest area restrooms, etc.' is nothing more than solar panels for restroom use."

He pointed out, "To use solar panels at drowsy rest areas as shade shelters, the canopies with panels must be installed very high and wide, which incurs enormous structural costs alone, and the power generated from such small-scale solar panels can never cover the costs."

Lee said, "Thanks to shameless solar panel enthusiasts, the beneficiaries are solar panel companies and China, which supplies nearly 70% of solar cells. The Democratic Party is making blunders, and the Justice Party, not knowing what it is doing, gets excited over the three letters 'solar panel' and scores an own goal. This structure must now be eradicated."
