According to the Seoul Jungnang Police Station on the 2nd, the man in his 70s, identified as Mr. A, was found dead in the Jungnangcheon Stream in Seoul at around 4:18 PM the previous day.
At the time, a citizen who was taking a walk along Jungnangcheon Stream witnessed Mr. A and reported it to the police. On the 24th of last month, Mr. A's family had reported that he had not returned home.
A police official stated, "There were no external injuries and the water was shallow, so the possibility of drowning is low," adding, "There is no suspicion of homicide, but we are awaiting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death."
