On the 30th, Judge Park Jongwon of the Criminal Division 5 at Cheongju District Court announced that he sentenced A (37) to 9 months in prison on charges of intimidation.

In February of last year, A mistook the woman appearing in a pornographic video he saw on the internet for his ex-girlfriend B.

Afterwards, A created an anonymous account on SNS and sent the video to B, threatening, "If you do not admit that the woman in the video is you, I will spread the video around." He also said, "I know your real name," and "I wonder how your acquaintances and boyfriend would react if they saw it."

When B blocked the messages, A threatened again, "If you block me one more time, I will distribute the video."

However, the woman in the video was a person completely unrelated to B.

Judge Park explained the sentencing, saying, "The victim appears to have experienced considerable psychological shock, so the nature of the crime is very bad, and forgiveness from the victim was not obtained."

A appealed the verdict.
