[Photo] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation Delivers Lunar New Year Gifts to Dockworkers Union Members

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The Seoul Agricultural and Marine Products Corporation (President Youngpyo Moon) delivered holiday encouragement gifts to 1,386 stevedores at Garak Market and Yanggok Market through Garak Market's representative public interest corporation, the Hope Sharing Market Association, on the 27th in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.

The corporation annually provides designated encouragement gifts (holiday gift sets) to wholesale market stevedores during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays to show appreciation. This year’s delivery ceremony was held at the corporation with a minimal number of attendees to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

President Youngpyo Moon stated, “We delivered holiday encouragement gifts to offer some support to the stevedores who work under difficult conditions handling agricultural and marine products at the wholesale markets. As a public institution, the corporation will continue its sharing activities for those engaged in stevedoring at wholesale markets to fulfill its social responsibility.”
