[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] On the 29th, three workers were buried when a pile of soil collapsed at a stone quarry in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the fire authorities, around 10 a.m. on the same day, while drilling holes for blasting aggregate extraction at a stone quarry in Eunhyeon-myeon, Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, a pile of soil collapsed, burying three workers about 20 meters underground.
Currently, the fire authorities are removing the collapsed soil and conducting rescue operations.
