Seoul Metropolitan Council Calls for Citizen Ideas on 'Legislative Policy Research Service' Research Projects

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The Seoul Metropolitan Council (Chairman Kim In-ho) will conduct a public contest for citizen research project ideas for the 2022 'Council Legislative Policy Research Service' from February 7 to February 18.

The purpose of the 'Citizen Research Project Idea Contest' is to expand citizen participation in legislative affairs, discover diverse and closely related topics to citizens, enhance citizen rights and quality of life, and seek prompt solutions to social issues.

Last year, citizen ideas were also solicited, but most proposals were topics that had already been researched or were under study, resulting in the regret that none were selected as actual research projects.

This time, we hope to receive innovative research project ideas in various fields such as health and welfare, local government administration, culture and sports, transportation, urban safety, urban planning, and educational environment for the comfortable and happy life of Seoul citizens, and we encourage active participation from all citizens.

Anyone who is a Seoul citizen can participate. After checking the detailed information on the Seoul Metropolitan Council website, blog, or SNS, applicants should fill out the contest form (Research Service Project Idea Contest Application Form, etc.) and submit it via email to the person in charge at hohomimi@seoul.go.kr.

The proposed research project ideas will be shared with the relevant departments and may be referenced when promoting the 'Council Legislative Policy Research Service' projects.

Additionally, excellent projects will be selected and awarded through evaluation. For more detailed information, please refer to the Seoul Metropolitan Council website or blog, or contact the Legislative Affairs Officer for further inquiries.
