[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Emart announced on the 2nd that starting from the 4th, it will launch the ‘e-Delivery & Installation’ service, which delivers and installs furniture directly sourced from overseas and Emart’s private brand (PB) furniture products to customers' homes.
Emart has established a partnership with the furniture-specialized logistics startup ‘Hauser.’ When customers purchase products at Emart stores, Hauser delivers and installs the furniture on the date requested by the customer.
This service is available at all 138 Emart stores nationwide, from the metropolitan area to Jeju, with a uniform delivery and installation fee of 20,000 KRW regardless of the item. The products eligible for installation service include a total of 22 items such as multi-purpose metal racks, Loving Home wooden tables, Loving Home wooden 3-tier shelves, pro gaming tables, and reclining office chairs.
An Emart representative said, “As demand for furniture has increased due to COVID-19, we introduced the furniture delivery and installation service to allow customers to purchase furniture conveniently,” adding, “We will continue to integrate installation and delivery services for various large furniture items to enhance customer convenience.”
