Minister Jeong Eui-yong Chairs Meeting of Ukrainian Embassy Chiefs

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the late afternoon of the 28th, Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong held a video conference to conduct a meeting of heads of diplomatic missions related to Ukraine and review measures to protect overseas nationals.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting is expected to be attended by heads of diplomatic missions from countries neighboring Ukraine, including Russia, Poland, Hungary, Belarus, Slovakia, Romania, and Belgium (EU).

Meanwhile, earlier that morning, the government held a meeting of related ministers chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Hong Nam-ki to discuss the economic impact of the Ukraine situation and future response directions.
