Support for Card Fees, Noryanusan Deduction Enrollment Incentives, and Traditional Market Stall Rent
[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shim Jeong-woo] On the 28th, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it has prepared various support measures to stabilize the management of small business owners who have suffered direct and indirect damage due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
For the management stabilization of small business owners in 2022, support will be provided for ▲credit card fee subsidies, ▲Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid subscription incentives, ▲50% reduction in traditional market stall rental fees, and ▲purchase costs of quarantine supplies.
In addition, it was announced that small business owners in the jurisdiction with sales of 300 million KRW or less will receive a subsidy of 0.8% of their credit card sales, up to a maximum of 500,000 KRW, for fees.
Along with this, the ‘Small Business Owner Mutual Aid Yellow Umbrella Subscription Incentive Support Project’ will be promoted, which supports new subscribers to the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid in 2022 with a monthly mutual aid contribution of 20,000 KRW (up to 240,000 KRW for 12 months).
Furthermore, as part of the Good Landlord Practice Movement, a 50% reduction in traditional market stall rental fees will be applied.
The targets for the stall rental fee reduction include 96 stalls operating in Goheung Traditional Market, as well as 243 stalls across five traditional markets in the jurisdiction: Nokdong, Gwaryeok, Donggang, Dohwa, and others.
Since 2020, a 50% reduction in traditional market stall rental fees has been provided for 18 months to support market merchants.
Up to 100,000 KRW will be supported for the purchase costs of quarantine-related supplies for businesses where the quarantine pass is mandatory.
Applicants need to submit necessary documents such as credit card receipts or cash receipts for the purchase of quarantine-related supplies (QR code verification terminals, hand sanitizers, thermometers, etc.), and applications can be made through the Goheung-gun website until February 25.
In addition, the Small Enterprise and Market Service and Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation are helping small business owners overcome financial difficulties and normalize management through financial support such as emergency management stabilization funds, operating funds, and special guarantees.
A Goheung-gun official said, “We will continue to discover and implement effective management stabilization measures for small business owners to alleviate their management burdens amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.”
