Cheongdam Shindong-A Apartment Remodeling Project Bird's-eye View

Lotte Construction announced on the 28th that it has been selected as the contractor for the remodeling project of Shindonga Apartments in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. This is the second construction right secured this year following Seongsu 1 District.

Shindonga Apartments in Cheongdam are located at 134-16, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and are a 25-year-old complex completed in 1997. Through horizontal and annex expansion remodeling, the complex will transform from its current structure of 2 basement floors to 14 above-ground floors with 106 households into a building with 5 basement floors to 20 above-ground floors and 121 households. The construction cost is approximately 63 billion KRW.

Lotte Construction applied its high-end brand 'Leael' to the Shindonga Apartment remodeling project and proposed the complex name 'Leael La Piltus'.

A Lotte Construction official stated, "It is a compound word of the Latin words 'Lapillus,' meaning 'gem,' and 'Ritus,' meaning 'riverbank,' expressing our determination to complete a unique high-end complex shining like a gem along the Han River."
