[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Heungkuk Life Insurance, a financial affiliate of Taekwang Group, announced on the 28th that it has successfully concluded the '1st Digital Handwriting Contest.'
This contest was held to raise awareness of the beauty and value of handwriting, which is gradually disappearing due to the advancement of digital technology.
Under the theme 'Words I Want to Say to Myself,' a total of about 900 works were submitted.
The company explained that the contest received great response by eliciting positive reactions such as "It was a precious time to reflect on myself by writing comfort, advice, and resolutions for myself."
The handwriting of the three winners selected as the best works will be made into digital fonts and distributed for free through the Heungkuk Life Insurance website starting today, sharing the beauty of handwriting with more people.
A Heungkuk Life Insurance official said, "In these days when digital is part of everyday life, we had a time to empathize with customers by providing a unique experience of writing encouraging messages for oneself in handwriting," and added, "We plan to hold various empathy events to create more opportunities for communication with customers in the future."
