Air Busan conducted a campaign on the 27th to raise awareness about the first day of enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Air Busan launched a dedicated team and initiated a campaign from the first day of the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act on the 27th, embarking on a thorough safety measure.

As of the 1st of this month, Air Busan reorganized its structure by establishing an Industrial Safety and Health part within the Safety and Security Office, a department directly under the CEO.

To strengthen the safety and health management system in line with the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, a new organization was created, a separate budget was allocated, and a person in charge of the budget was assigned.

Simultaneously with the organizational restructuring, key contents regarding the safety and health management system and the Serious Accidents Punishment Act were produced as posters and posted throughout the company, and related training has been conducted for all employees since the 25th.

Training was also provided to executives who are supervisors and heads of each department, and general employees received education aimed at raising safety awareness in their work.

On the morning of that day, at the Air Busan headquarters, hot packs and informational leaflets about the Serious Accidents Punishment Act were distributed to employees on their way to work to encourage interest in the safety and health management system.

During January, Air Busan will conduct three consultations with related organizations and external safety and health professional firms to review and receive advice on the safety preservation management system, thereby supplementing the management system.
