[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The People Power Party's Regime Change Accompaniment Committee announced that young generations voting for the first time in this year's presidential election in Jeju and Mokpo declared their support for Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate.

On the 27th, according to the Regime Change Accompaniment Committee, 13 members of the 'Jeju Region First-Time NEW Voters' held a discussion at a cafe and declared their support for candidate Yoon.

The 'First-Time NEW Voters' Union is a group composed of young people who will cast their first votes in the 20th presidential election to be held on March 9.

The members declared, "We judge that candidate Yoon has demonstrated principles prioritizing fairness and common sense by participating in the 12·12 mock trial during his university days, standing up against the living power."

On the same day in Mokpo, 16 voters casting their first votes also declared their support for candidate Yoon. They stated, "If candidate Yoon, who has the courage and firmness to confidently say that what is wrong is wrong, becomes president, South Korea will become a country that can have hope for tomorrow and move toward the future," adding, "We want to exercise our first presidential voting rights for candidate Yoon to live in such a world."
